Built for one town at a time.
Soon Here started with a simple observation: on any given afternoon in Potters Bar, there is a salon chair sitting empty, a table for two going unbooked, and a class with room for one more. Meanwhile, someone a few streets away would have happily taken any of them — if only they had known.
We are not a voucher site and we are not interested in racing local businesses to the bottom on price. The thing being sold here is timing. A good independent business with a quiet Tuesday does not need to slash its prices; it needs to be visible to the right person at the right moment.
So everything on Soon Here is live, checked, and close by. Businesses are approved by hand before they can publish. Offers expire on their own. Nothing lingers, nothing misleads.
We are starting in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, because a hyperlocal idea should earn its keep in one place first. If it works here, we will take it to the next town.
